Meet Caden

Hello! I’m Caden Black, I'm 20, and I started doing automotive media in April of 2024 and have been loving it ever since.

A little history of me: I was born in Iowa, moved to Colorado in 2017, and then ended up in Cali for a bit. While I was there, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, or at least what I wanted to try. I landed on photography and videography, as I love visual arts and always had a good eye for things. In March of 2024, I moved back to Iowa to my family's farm, bought a camera and a laptop, and went to the first car show I could find. Everything's been a blur after that. Despite trying other forms of photography, automotive photography stuck with me, and that’s been my main focus. I’ve always had an interest in cars, the community is amazing, and who knew content creators and drivers were such a dynamic duo?

Sometimes people will ask me why I landed on 'Black Productions'. Well, Black is my last name, my favorite color, and I feel it represents everything and nothing at the same time. A clean slate, and everything you can imagine packed into one color. I also take a lot of pride in my last name, so it was important to me that it played a part in my future. As far as the 'Productions' part, I just wanted a word that could fit all forms of art into it, where everything was produced by me. "Productions of me".

I don't have many role models, but one person I really look up to in terms of creativity, imagination, and just a well-rounded human is Cole Bennet, founder of Lyrical Lemonade. I've always been a huge music guy, and watching someone turn that music into such amazing videos and art is always refreshing. He’s such a grounded and wise guy, I’d love to work with him someday.

I say it a lot, but I can never say it enough. I appreciate every single one of you for your support towards me and my work, and I look forward to working towards what I love!
